Babymoon

I hate this term. It is yet another way that poor, unsuspecting yuppies like us are supposed to spend our money to make our entry into parenthood more legitimate.

BUT ... I think we just went on one and we had a blast. We headed down to Key West Friday night, arriving just after midnight. We spent the weekend boating, swimming, snorkeling, and just hanging out. We stayed on Meg and Con's boat. I was like a graceful gazelle getting off and on, but Toby was not so lucky and took a graceless leap right in the drink. We spent last night with Brian and Jess in Miami and are currently on the way home, in the Melbourne area of I-95.

Here are a couple pictures, none of the beautiful scenery. Someone out there who is good at chronicling their life needs to give me tips on how to take more pictures! Seriously, what is your secret? I am terrible at remembering to capture the moment.

nothing new to report.....

riiiiiiight ......... What isn't going on with us?!

We spent the last weekend in March in Amelia Island at Josh and Gwen's wedding, and it was a blast. The bride was beautiful, the band was great, and the weather was perfect. I stayed up until midnight both nights and got to see so many people I hadn't seen in a long time. It was too short! I feel like I didn't even get to talk to Jen Cim and I would have said the same about Sarah Mac, but we squeezed in an early Sunday breakfast to catch up. Sarah may have spent less than 48 hours in Florida, but don't worry, she only slept 8 of them.

In other news, we are putting our first offer in on a house this week! I'll keep you posted.

I am feeling great and baby looks great too. We had an ultrasound last week and he/she spent the whole time "walking" around on my uterus. It was so cute, and of course we are proud because we are pretty sure he/she is going to come out walking.

I had my camera all weekend long, and this is the only picture I can offer you! Sarah Mac and me:
